If/when you move I can pull down the database so you can install in a new forum.

Sorry I say that, but you did have learn a lesson to NOT borrowing a skin from a another jukebox applications, without get the permission first. This is of course illigal, and the company would sue you before or later.

But i have to ask: Would did he not close down forum in meanstream mode, and just delete all threads, that have these skins? This is what, I would do.

I really hope you got the site up running again, and of course remove all competers skins as well (unless these, you have permission for).

The sad thing is no matter who or what app is out there if somebody is allowed to create and share skins which is upload able to a site for others to use is taking the chance in getting in trouble. In defense of BarCrest maybe he didn't know that it was a look alike of another. With out having an iron clad disclaimer to everybody and those who share and download its hard. I guess live and learn huh?

Personally the default skins could use a little work, but then again no matter what app you pick up they are all going to need work one way or another. I haven't changed my skin because for one I don't know how to well and I'm not creative enough to know how.

Finally got the beta brite working. Turns out my serial touchscreen was causing a port conflict. Barry your the man! I love this software. One question though, -is there a way to make it clear after the song? Either show a custom message, or be blank? Right now it just shows the last song forever.

I'm having the same problem with the betabrite on my arcade. I can't get the last song played to go away. Mamewah doesn't override it. I even uninstalled freebox, and it's still there. Any ideas?

This is a illigal, and should been avoid at all! If you got a permission first, of course this is a another story.

So write some simple rules.

To be honest i don't mind what skins come out as i said before, they are not illegal if created from scratch and original artwork isn't used. Likewise if they are not hosted by me then there is very little i can do about them anyway.

Yep it's down i don't know why NETCAT has not mailed me back so i will yet again be looking for another host. It seems we might be pulling to much bandwidth... 10gb in january apparently.

A bad hosting, since you did not have a change to bring the traffic down, and/or backup the forum (which is may been GONE again). It very very sad. You should of course got a warning email first.

But I guess it not just the traffic, but you hostede files! Many cheap webhosts is not allow to host files or such, and can been suspended for that without notice. This is very annoying.

I personally recommered http://www.micfo.com which I use as my webhotel for couple of domains (including arcade music box, playitgame and others).

Uh I don't remember all the bells and whistles, but they are my primary host and their offer 65gig transfer and 1.6gig storage.

Netcat may not have adjusted the bandwitch high ennorch. I guess it would been corrected in very few days. It same problem. Now it a month since ago, so the bandwitch should now been pretty stable.

I guess some mirrors should been hosted the app file istelf since it can take some bandwich, if it updated many times in a month. I can create such of a mirror for the 2 neweste files.

Do dns on the domains support subdomains wich a difficents ip numbers? If yes, I can create spacefractal.freeboxjukebox.com as a mirror (10mb harddrive to host these files).

I have mailed netcat and i can't do much until he gets the site back up and running... I have created an .httaccess file to try and prevent hotlinking the download which i will upload to the site as soon as it comes back online. In the mean time if one of you guys has the 2.1.13 public build and could host it that would be great. Let me know the link and i can alter the site to add the mirrors as soon as it's released. If this continues to be a problem i might have to look at discontinuing the public versions.

Here is a shot of the alternate method for browsing by GENRE i am working on. It's un skinned but you can see how it works. You can click genres and still browse the albums on the same screen, i think it's pretty cool... You will be able to specify which genre methog to use in the skin tool like how you select the navigation style. While the site is down i will try and get this finished up and update the included skins to use this new method.

If i get this finished and the skins updated before the site is fixed i will post here and anyone who donated and wants a copy can mail me. Far from ideal i know but it seems netcat still isn't awake LOL

Site is back up, i have now disabled hotlinking to the download to try and solve the bandwidth issues... i have alos put the public releases on hold. People can still download 2.1.13 if they have not donated but all newer releases are for donators only. I have had to do this as we have had over 2,000 unique visitors download the app and only have about 15 donations. Not how i wanted it to be but these people just pulling the software are eating up the bandwidth and not giving anything back. We pulled 10gig in january and it's spiraled way above that already... I am hoping to get a mirror for the public downloads if anyone can offer that let me know and i can put the links up

I hope you all undertand why i have had to do this and hopefully we can move forward.

I guess much more actuelly would pay for the software, and there would still been a free public version to download wich is of course may not sync with the paid version (wich is comple of versions newer).

NB. I'm also paid 10$ a month for my webhotel, but I can offer a mirror, since I'm only use about 1% of my traffic limit....

Third time? It even two hosted the files? By now I removed hotprotecting file, undtil this is fixed again. It cant just been trafic problems anymore.

If you update your dns (I have sent you the IP number for same days ago), the domain should automatic work on my server (because I have created that domain), so the temp mainpage can work again.

Just upload rest of the files, I have expand your account with few more MB. If you need more, contact me.

I should not have any traffic problems, since I have 500gb traffic/month on my account, and I still only use few project (about one :-).

The forum can still host on a other server (on a subdomain as well).
