Are you trying to get personal data back or looking for certain games?
I built a computer with a 5 1/4" 1.2 meg drive that you could jumper down to 300 rpm to read commodore, apple, atari, and a few other disks. It run 98, so you can dump with it and copy the dumps over the network.
Takes about 1 min per disk.
Can't remember the name of the program, but it works like a charm, and you don't have to deal with the cranky old commie drives.
(I'll ask my friend who has the computer I built what the program name is tomorrow. He's backing up the 500 or so floppies he had laying around.)
The drives are fairly cheap off ebay. (My friend found 3 in his closet when we found the program last year.)
