WTB: Vid Card made Pre 95
« on: December 11, 2004, 06:32:53 pm »
I am looking for a PCI or ISA video card that would be able to run in Windows 3.11 without problems. Would prefer at least 1 Meg or memory. Anyone have soemthing?

Sure, but what's the problem with something a little newer?

The newer ones don't have drivers for 3.xx and won't run on the generics on anything with more than 16 colors

Something a little past 95 would be fine if you could confirm native 3.11 drivers

I have a Trident ISA card.  I think it's got 512k on it.  No drivers, but it shouldn't be hard to either find them SOMEWHERE on the 'net, or the Windows native drivers.  Last I tested it it worked fine.  Make an offer, add $4.00 to ship it.

The S3 Trio 64 PCI listed here works under 3.11
It may not have driver shipping with it, I am sure you can DL them.  Good luck!

I got alot, PCI or ISA. $6.00 shipped in the USA. I have some PCI that are 1MB, 2MB, 4MB and some has Windows driver disk for it. If interested, I will find the one with more memory and driver disk for it (Driver, I might E-mail you that making shipping for me less $$$)
