Couple coin door questions
« on: November 05, 2004, 05:28:27 pm »
First, I thought I remember reading that someone used a decal of a coindoor instead of a real coin door but I cannot find that anywhere.  Does such a thing exist?

Second, is there an easy way to change what coin a coin door accepts?  I would like to have my coin door accept nickels instead of quaters  is that possible?

I'm going to do that same hack for mine, but if you don't even have a door yet then you should just order the one that excepts everything instead of hacking one......I don't remember the website but I do remember reading about.....hopefully someone will post it.

If you want nickles, and you want to save money, than buy a surface mount nickel mech and forget the coin door altogether. Plenty of games used surface mount mechs, especially cocktails.
