coin door/tokens
« on: October 05, 2004, 11:40:47 am »
all this talk about byoac tokens has gotten me thinking about my happs coin door and mechs.  i was wondering if it's possibly to change my 25 cent mechs to accept tokens and what size token would be easiest to change to?  i hear that these are the four most common sizes:

.882x.075
.900x.070
.984x.060
1.00x.060

thanks for all the help guys, and like always, i'm looking for someone who can get me cab dimensions for a neo geo mvs cab...

0.984 is just slightly larger than a quarter.  I have converted a few Happs quarter mechs to accept 0.984 tokens.

thanks for the reply mp2526, could you give me a quick overview of what you did?  like did you just bend some of the parts inside with a screwdriver till they wend in?  i just don't want to spend another 50 bucks on coin mechs after spending so much on my cab already...my wife would probably kill me in my sleep.
