Repros of the tall (robotron) style can apparently be purchached here:

http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm

Don't personally know anything about the parts or the retailer.

There are also lots of joys on ebay from time to time that include used 8-ways and you can part out.
What was that again?

I have the repro robotron handles on my main mame cabinet. Very nice, although mine were $12 each from Bob Roberts (he no longer stocks those though).

That's good to know, thanks, po.  Do they match well with real wico's for size/color?

Though if one's not in a hurry, I imagine it would be more cost-effective to watch for ones on ebay to clean up and score some other parts in the process.

I *do* have a single long blue ball-top I wouldn't mind finding a match for, if anyone has any ideas.

They appear identical, if anything they look better (since real Wico handles tend to have shafts that have darkened or rusted over time).

The current wico joystick I currently have has a Blue ball top but I want the red. Bigmoe I would be willing to part with the blue ball top to my wico joystick if you want to acquire it.

I Just checked Bob Roberts site and he has the repro Robotron shafts but they are $25 for a pair.

Check tomorrow for my ad. I will gather my Josyticks stuff and see what I got and take a pic and post it here. If you still need a RED BALL TOP that is.

anybody know if the robotron handles will fit any of the Happ's joysticks? I want a red ball for the Super I was going to set up as my 4-way stick, but I can only find the red bats (have enough of those)

No, Wico handles do not fit Happ sticks.
