I need a name for my arcade room. I want to make a nice sign to hang in the room. I will post pictures tonight so you can come up with a name that fits.

RULES:

I choose the winner.

It has to be appropriate. I have families with young children over all the time. Feel free to blast away with off color suggestions anyway. I like to be entertained.

It can't have the word Arcade or -cade anywhere in it.

The winner gets a laser etched solid oak plaque with their name on it. I can design it however you like.

In honesty. Naming stuff is hard. Are there any particular characteristics that stand out about your arcade? I find that sort of thing brings out the best names.

Just a personal example - This summer I fixed up a boat. Here were the facts.

The boat is brown and tan
It is small and scruffy looking
I spend a lot of hours working on it after midnight
I had some serious concerns about dropping it in the water for the first time.
The boat was from the early 80's

For that reason, I named the boat "The Wet Mogwai". Right now, I can't imagine a more appropriate name.

Ok. Since this is family friendly you can connotate it with the Bible and call it Noah's Arcade. I know it has arcade in the title but if you rap about it and make it fun, it should draw people in. For the rap I was thinking about the following:

Come bust a move where the games are played, it's chill, it's fresh, it's Noah's Arcade. Whaddya think?

If I recall correctly, isn't the room wood paneled? Noah's Arcade works, but I think that's an interesting juxtaposition of religion and violent video games.

The previous owners turned their garage into a den. That is the arcade room. The house was a fixer upper sitting on 5 acres. They were making mortgage payments on their credit cards when I made an offer. The house was pretty rough when I moved in, but I put a lot of work into it and it turned out nicely.

Wow 5 acres! I hope you don't have to mow all of that. My lot is 50'x120' (0.14 acres haha). I bet my taxes are higher though.

If/when I ever do a dedicated arcade room I'm going to call it "The Pit" Seems appropriate as most are in basements. Feel free to steal that one.

Though judging by the pics, "The Wooden Nickel" might be more appropriate.

You did a great job on that room.

Yup I mow the whole thing. My mower has a 46 inch deck and I have an offset tow behind that is 48 inches. It takes a little time, but I get a lot of thinking done while I mow.

My taxes are pretty reasonable. My neighborhood is zoned for agriculture for some reason.
