Two inputs with one button

Hi there. Does anyone know how to wire 2 inputs to one button? There is plenty of info on how to wire two or more buttons to one input in parallel or series, but not much on how to do the opposite.
I have a cabinet that has both a Jamma board and a PC/iPac with a relay to switch between the two.
All buttons work except the buttons that are shared. I have a total of 7 shared buttons. Does anyone have any insight to a potential solution for this?

just get a SPDT switch and wire just the Ground/Common wires.

It the switch is one side, it will activate GAME1 controls and if it's in the other side it will activate GAME2 controls.

I think this would be the easiest and cheapest way.

If Thenasty's idea doesnt work, an A-B parallel port switch and either 3 male DB-25 connectors or 3 old parallel printer cables should do the trick.

 

You would need to use 8 wires per port -- 7 switches and ground.

EDIT: On second thought, I'm not sure exactly what the relay in your setup is switching.   

Is it switching power and video?  Just video?

The answer could change which appoach will work for you.

Thanks for your help thenasty. I ended up using two relays to perform that switch. I've attached it below in case anyone needs to do something like this in the future. Thanks!
