Hide the Main Emulator list?
« on: September 03, 2015, 09:38:14 am »
Hi Guys, I'm setting up a laptop with two USB snes controllers for my nephews and my plan is to only use 'other emulators' SNES / SEGA / NES.  No MAME.  Is there anyway to Hide the main MAME list from the Frontend?

If you use a tree menu, couldn't you simply not have the MAME lists in the tree?

Hello thank you for the reply, I have not used a Tree yet, so I will have to check it out.

Thanks heaps.

Without a tree you can create a new gamelist (I called it Blank), switch to it, select Options (F1) - Gamelists - MAME, checkbox Hide "All Games".

Then you have a list for MAME with nothing in it. Still a nuisance but it may help.

That's what I have. I put a dummy rom in it because if you don't it always asks you to search for roms since there isn't any games in the list.
