Update: Yoke has been sold!  Thanks for trying to identify.

I have for sale a yoke used in an arcade very similar and interchangeable with the star wars arcade.  Attached is a USB converter and mounting block great for any Mame Cabinet.  It is working and all mechanics are in amazing shape.  It is missing the artwork as I decided to part with it instead of convert it for my cabinet.  Looking for $350 OBO.

Thanks!

Nice yoke, isn't that from Hydra?  Handles are plastic and the red buttons...

You're right. That's a nice looking yoke, but it's not exactly off of Star Wars.

Woops! My bad.  I got this in a suite of stuff and the guy told me it was off star wars and frankly I didn't know any better.  Any idea what game it is off then?  Hydra doesn't seem to look quite like it either.  Any idea how this affects the pricing on one of these?

Good questions.  I mean, you can use it for Star Wars so it's still desirable,  but someone doing a full restore might pass on it. Honestly, if you're looking for the best price, you might want to throw it on eBay.

It's probably from one of of the analog joystick/yoke games in this list from the wiki.
Quote
Apache 3 (yoke)
FireFox (yoke)
Hydra (yoke)
Lock-On (yoke)
Paperboy (yoke)
Return Of The Jedi (yoke)
Star Wars (yoke)
Starblade (yoke)
S.T.U.N. Runner / STUN Runner (yoke)
The Empire Strikes Back (yoke)
Turbo-Sub (yoke)
Two Tigers (yoke -- X-axis only)

If it's from another game, let me know so I can add it to the list.

The upside to it not being off a Star Wars is that it probably has a lot less mileage on it.   ;D

It looks like it was from stun runner if I had to guess.

Unless they hacked the y axis for full range of motion it isn't a STUN. My money is on hydra.

The handles are right, but the rear "steering frame" (the part attached to the panel) looks wrong.   :dunno
(see pg 40 of the owner's manual)

I own a STUN Runner.  It's not that one.

Agreed -- unless it was modded with an extra Y-axis spring, thumb buttons/handle shells, the Y-axis sriker plate was removed, and a custom-built metal mount was added.   :dizzy:

Pretty sure it's not from a Hydra since the parts breakdown shows no gears on the back and the angle of the mount looks different. (pgs 35 and 12 of owner's manual)

It's also probably not from Lock-On, based on the third picture in this thread. (no gears on the back)
I looked at the yoke cover (which has a reprinted star wars overlay like the one in the video) and noticed to gray stripes peeking out from the original sticker underneath, leading me to believe it is a Lock-On yoke.

It's hard to say for sure without the part number of the rear frame (Star Wars = A040236-01, Stun Runner = 040236-02, etc.) or some other distinctive identifier.   :dunno

That is an extra mounting part and not technically part of the yoke.  It was used to mount yokes, steering wheels, etc to control panels.

Except for the handles and handle mounting, which I like better then star wars, this yoke is the same as a Star Wars yoke.
