Video randomly rotating my desktop and moving to corner

I'm using Mala and the lastest version of mame.  but sometimes the game will get smaller and only use the bottom left of the screen.  also sometimes it rotates my desktop 180' any ideas of why this is happening?

the rotating, no idea... but the size thing, it sounds like it is changing resolutions and then getting confused about it. Do you have custom resolutions on a per-game basis? I run my games on a cheap LCD television and when I change resolutions it gets confused

Check if your video card drivers use hotkeys,  for example ctrl and down arrow on a lot of Dell machines will cause display to flip 180 degrees.  It could quite easily be that you are chainging resolutions and flipping screen when a certain set of keys are used.

I had the same issue, if your using Windows 7 go into control panel and change the accessibility rules. Haven't had an issue after that.
