Guess the Game....again...

The game I'm thinking of was, I believe, DOS based.  In the game you were a young warrior and you had to fight your way through ninjas and by the end you rescued your girlfriend.  The background was always stactic and at night.  The only thing I can really remember is when you beat the game it shows the a castle.

I have a lot of found memories playing that on my Apple II+ when i was about 6 years old.

I remember it being really hard too.

That was me and my cousin's favorite game. The background does change, but I don't think it scrolls. It used the analog jostick, so you would have to figure that out.

There are quite a few apple II emulators out there if I want to go that route.

M.E.S.S. and MESSUI are really easy to set up for Apple systems.   ;D

I used to play that on my IBM PCjr. It was hard only because of the latency of the controls. Oh, wait, ... PCjr.  ::)

My roommate in college had the Apple IIe version.  I later got it on my Commodore 64.

He also had Conan the Barbarian which was also a great game.

Great game...the retail version actually played upside down if you flipped the floppy disk over and tried to play the other side!  :laugh2:
