Custom Serial Plates
« on: April 14, 2013, 02:42:08 am »
Since the original thread was started using thin aluminum I am starting a new one so people don't get confused.

Here is a few of the plates I have made, I can make dedication plates usually based off of the main character or an object from the game as well.

If you would like one please edit the attached file (PSD) or give me the info\picture you would like to be displayed and where you want it.

This is the material I use, it is fairly thick. Makes for a solid serial plate.

A Peso Poem, by Vigo:

I have 15 Pesos
Oh, what can I buy?
The choices are limitless
when I close my eyes.

When I take my pesos
that is when I realize
that all I can afford
is a one-legged cat
to put in my stir fry.

I'm interested in paying you moneys for a plate or two. I just need to know what font you used for the info (also to change the country)

Thanks, I would be glad to change up the serial plate for it to say what you want. I am not sure what the font was sorry, I can check later.

Serial plates are inbound!

I was messing around with different sizes for the hell of it and landed on making them about 15% bigger. "Chapel", you got one of each, the regular size & the bigger size.

I made it much easier for you guys this time around. Drilled the holes for you and included 4 screws per serial plate to install them on your Cabinet.

I also made a "tiny" copy of Sshado's plate to test an idea. I think it is the cutest ever. You can keep it as a token (maybe drill a hole in it for a keychain) so even if you sell your arcade with the original plate on it you will have this as a keep sake to remind you of it.  :dunno

I am sending you this one for free Sshado, if anyone would like a copy of one of their serial plates I will do them for $5 if they order or already ordered a plate from me (has to be a duplicate).

Here are the plates

As you are perfecting these have you given any thought to try acid etching? Your prices would have to go up but it would move the plates into a whole different level of badassary.

Hasn't arrived yet but from the pics it will look perfect on the back of the bartop !! (Actually need something to put on there as I ran into a small problem with the build -- When downsizing a project to 75% OF ORIGINAL DESIGN MAKE SURE THERE IS STILL ROOM INSIDE TO FIT THE PSU !!)  :hissy:

Got it to fit by cutting an opening in the back and framing with some aluminum marquee holders (still need to clean it up a bit and add a fan and a couple USB connectors for a thumb drive and wireless keyboard\mouse) but at least it does fit now with everything inside.  :laugh2:
