Yeah, I really need to get cracking on a driver bartop...

In another news, another day, another harubuck... 3 Nintendos, 1 baby Nintendo, and a slightly redesigned Defender (no more sharp corners, marquee retainers easier to install). Just have to pack up, now.

So I went to the Amazing Arizona Comic Con earlier this year and had a couple comic books signed by Greg Capullo. I want to hang them up in the gameroom to display them, but I really didn't find much in the way of comic book frames. Solution? CNC some! First prototype, unpainted mdf and plexiglass:

Nice! You are correct there isn't much out there for comic book frames. You could probably add these to your product offering.

This is pretty great. If you could find a way to produce them at a relatively low cost there would be a huge market for these.

So here's a thing I'm working on:

I'm loving the kit. As soon as I finish the build I will add a review.

For some reason the back was just a few millimeters too large to fit. I was able to sand it down and get it in, but I thought you should know.

Looks great!!! Noted on the back. Sometimes when I'm drawing I make pieces the exact size to cover a gap, which doesn't work in the real world. I'll trim it down a hair in the drawing.

Currently having to rebuild a privacy fence after Tropical Storm Bill kicked its ass, plus I had to replace the central air system (inside and out!), so the money is tight, but I pop in this thread occasionally to dream of a new project that's actually fun.

Well, my widescreen is based on the degenatrons open source bartop, so I will share that one with you. PM incoming.

You need to have 5 posts to reply to PM's.

It's a DWG (autocad) file. Drawing is in inches. Your CNC guy should be able to import it into whatever software he is using to cut.

This one can take up to a 23" widescreen monitor (there is 22" of space available horizontally)

23" is just the max size.

Alternately, you could take my single player plans (1st post in this thread) and modify it with a 2 player panel. The single player works well with 17" monitor.

This will be my first build ever. Gonna do a RetroPie build since i'm already comfortable working with Raspberry Pi.
