Opti-Pac can support two trackballs (and two spinners) connected simultaneously, no need to disable them, mame will recognize them independently. I have two trackballs in my 3-sided cokctail and they work great together...
Plug USB cable into the connector on the board and connect to the PC USB port. The PC will auto-detect the device and install a standard mouse driver. (Actually it installs two mouse devices)

Thanks, I checked the site but wasn't sure how windows would handle two mouse devices (if it would sum the input into one, etc.- I was looking into using trackballs for a homebrew game but the game dev forums said 2 mice were a no-go).

I think you need to look at the RAW input methodology in order to support two mouse devices simultaneously.RandyT
Thanks Randy. I assume a couple Opti-Wiz(es) would be another alternative for a 2-trackball cocktail?
