Error Code 2 and Joy2key

okay so working with joy2key have my pre-command set to the corresponding key cfg for whatever emulator setup.

here's an example of the pre-command I'm using

c:\emulation\programs\joy2key\joy2key.exe fusion

When I start a game I get the following window from mala

Failed to execute program " c:\emulation\programs\joy2key\joy2key.exe fusion".  Error Code 2.

However if I hit ok the game loads and my Joy2key cfg is actually working....

What am I missing? How do I kill the Error Code 2 message?

trying this syntax recommended by headkaze I have fixed the error 2 code:

cmd.exe /C "C:\Emulation\Programs\joy2key\joy2key.exe fusion"

however I'm still having issues with epsxe and zsnes while Fusion and vnes are working fine. 

The joy2key cfg is working in conjunction with Mala Hotkeys for zsnes, fusion, and vnes.  I've set the Mala Hot Key for "close" to "Q" for each of those emulators and it works flawlessly with the keyboard. 

When I press the button that I've assigned "Q" to when zsnes is loaded with the above pre-command the screen returns to Mala but the snes music is still playing and I have to right click and "kill zsnes" before the menu activates.

Similar issue with epsxe but not using Mala Hot Keys for that, just expecting my joy2key cfg for epsxe to make a button "esc." Similar issues are arising with at least music continuing to run in the back ground that requires right click "kill epsxe" to return to menu.

Any ideas?
