after making sure we have the clearance..... the pc internals are being mounted under the cp. As a result we made the cp slide so that (if needed) we could access the pc and cp wiring easier.

and yes, its lockable.... thx for the comments

Really like the hidden invader holding the screen and invader mosaic on the kick panel.   CP sliides for access really look like a good idea as well.  Great work   :applaud: :applaud:

absolutely awesome work.
Ive been reading articles for a month now and am itching to start cutting the 8 bits of MDF in my shed lol.  Some nights I have 20 tabs open on this screen gathering info and slowly learning. This by far is the most spectacular cabinet I have seen.
Im the proud owner of a Police Trainer arcade game and will endeavour to add a pc and change the control panel to be able to play all the Mame classics. Hopefully soon I can add a few pics of my own.

PS  Does your uncle need free accommodation in Australia  :lol

I love the totally pointless attention to detail on this build for things that no one will ever see. I really identify with it. The monitor mount and invader on the front are excellent.

What are you going to finish the cab in/with? The invader on the front would make laminate a challenge. Have you considered spraying it?

Edited to add:
Off topic.... Do you still have the red Mini 1000? I love minis  ;D

I've been watching this build come along.  Very well done woodwork but I'm really excited to see some component installation.  Great stuff and keep it coming!  Are you just test fitting everything or are you not painting the inside?

So the comp is going right under the CP?

How does that work with button and JS depth?

All tried and tested for depth.... also the computer is quite set back

Stellar build, kind of strange that the the computer is going underneath the CP like Green Giant commented. What is going to be done with all the space at the bottom then?

Great looking build.  I never would have gotten that LCD mounted as I would have had the mount hanging on my wall.  Can't wait to see that little invader on the front painted too.  Should look good.

we are designing a four player compact cab (running 4 x tft screens) called "Quattro" just because we can LOL should have some 3D models soon :D
