Where's the love?
http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/99-sanwa-jlw-um-8-joystick.htmlActually we have new 1.5" ball tops coming in also that are the same used on the Wico reproduction sticks, and they feel great on these sticks!
We carry Zippyy's in both the long:

The reason that the J-sticks and JLW's cost more is because their base price is more. At this point in time, the margin on a Zippyy is comparable and actually a little better than the margin on a JLW.
As far as cost goes... If you are building a 4 joystick control panel, the cost difference between the most expensive and least expensive joystick here mentioned is less than 60 dollars...
I know people are looking for a bargain, but some of the expensive sticks are just simply better. You don't get double the stick for an LS-32 vs. a Zippyy, but if I put both in your hands I can almost promise you'll like the Seimitsu better. Not 2 times better like the price, but it is better. If I have to spend an extra 20-40 dollars for a 2 or 4 player panel to get something that just feels that much better, I would say my build time and enjoyment are more than worth that difference.
On a side note, we've been selling Zippyy's for over a year, on Ebay, our website and KLOV forums. Not only have we been selling them but there are at least 5 other vendors that selling them for longer than GGG.
They are not made by GGG. I am not sure why they say "Manufactured by: IDVT Inc." or why someone would trademark something other people were selling by the same name for over a year prior. I know that both GGG and our shop source these from the same vendor, I can not speak for many of the other sellers and where they obtain theirs from.
