I-PAC PS/2 Cable
« on: February 20, 2011, 06:01:31 am »
Hi all, my first post here.

So I got a PS/2 version of an I-PAC2 off EBAY on the cheap but it did not come with a cable.  Anyone have a line on a cheap PS/2 cable so I can hook the darn thing up?  My MAME cab is waiting...
tried EBAY and Amazon... hassle

Thanks a bunch

Try Divemaster127 who is a member here.  He sells Ultimarc's line of products.

He has a thread in B/S/T or his website:

The only thing setting a usb for a ps/2 ipac apart nowadays is the cable. Both models have ps/2 output, the only difference is one side of the cable is ps/2 or alternatively usb.

You mentioned it's an ipac 2, is it the more recent one with a smaller chip on board, or is it an older one with a larger chip the barely fits between the screw terminals? If it's a newer one, try for a USB connection.

Either way, look at your local computer stores for a cable that has the same ps/2 male plug on both ends. If it's a newer one, try to track down one with usb on the end.

I'm sure Andy at Ultimarc would be very helpful if you contacted him.

If you decide to search online, be sure to start at monoprice.com.

The newer one (with the small chip) should accept a standard USB (mini) cable, too.
