The List does not even make sense.
Most glaring, was that Ecco the Dolphin was on the list! lol. Sorry, but that game was horrible. Sadly, I fell for the hype and bought the game when it came out. What a waste of money.
His list is pretty much skewed to what guy is used to playing. (As well as a suckup for the typical BS hype) Its fine if he is saying "Top 100 games Ive experienced"... but hes not. You cant rate what you havent played...
If you want to know whats best (for you), your gona have to play a lot of games to find out for yourself. Stuff you dont know about, stuff you normally wouldnt play, and have patience & an open mind, to try to get past initial dislikes to find out if a game really shines.
I literally had to Force a younger friend to play Robotron. It was bad enough he was having a hard time accepting something older could be good.. but, seeing the graphics, he became extremely nasty in his commentary. After a few tries, his initial impressions vanished... as he got into it. We played the machine nonstop for several consecutive hours each weekend.
Another problem with lists like this... is lack of exposure to the arcade real machines. If you have never seen a real Vector monitor, or used a spinner..etc.. The experiences can be real disappointments... as many games just wont play well without the proper controls.
