You can hack a Griffin Powermate to do that. I can't remember where I saw the write up...might even have been here in the juke forum.

thats an idea , what i was thinking is not only will i have the volume but apparently you can push and turn for an action , so if i map it to push in right for next song and push in left for clear cue i wont have to add any more buttons to my juke

if you come across it please let me know

As mentioned, you can take it apart and do a lot with it. I have taken apart dozens of them now and have it down. It can be accomplished without even removing the wires from the board.

Here is how I mount them on a vertical surface. Hope this helps.

is there anyway it can be taken apart , and the cord re routed so that it comes out the bottom and somehow a mount put on so that the tail goes throught the mount in a way where the blue light can be kept ?

maybe you can do mine im willing to pay a price to have it done if it can be accomplished ,  i really want this knob on my juke but i want the light, it will save me a few buttons as i can have next programmed to push in and turn right and clear same but left

i have contacted the manufacturer about making a model that can be mounted flat with the tail going through the mount thread so that the button doesnt have to be pulled apart

if everyone that reads this sends a similar request just possibly it may be a future product

here is the link to post a request similar to mine ,  heres hoping the improve it
