New Here but...
« on: April 27, 2010, 07:33:03 pm »
I have been reading these forums for over 3 months, and i will plunge into my cabinet. I like Lokesen's cabinet and Knievels' Woody(this sounds very funny). But i have decided to go with Kievels Woodys, it would fit better in the space i have. i cannot wait. i just wanted to introduce myself.

Yeah, i was able to acquire 8ft by 4ft plywood, 9/16 thick, about 5 pieces, all for free. My father had it stored in the garage. So i think i will be starting soon. I think i will be going with the Knievels Woody, its a nice shape and size for the room i have. The only downfall about this is that there is only White Tmolding for that thickness. And i really want it to be black, cause i am going to stain the plywood a black smokey color, and then finish it up with some poly. So i dont know what to do about tmolding.

Just get 3/4" t-molding and shave the excess with a razorblade, if in fact you can only find white t-molding.

Yeah i actually looked at Tmolding.com and they only had the white nintendo Tmolding at 9/16. Also i never thought of doing it like that, sounds like agreat idea. 3/4 and cut the rest off.
