monitor guru needed (help)
« on: July 23, 2003, 03:20:23 pm »
I have a couple of Standard monitors that came with the cabinets, I bought.  I can't adjust the screen/picture to go all the way up on the monitor. I tried all the adjustments in the back and one of the adjustment makes the picture go up but it rolls over that part of the monitor. I get full screen of the game but the monitor itself i can't adjust to full screen.
How can I described this better. Let see..
Let say a monitor is 10 inch square.
At this point we just consentrate on the TOP and Bottom part (left and right are good).
The top part I can only see 7" and the bottom I see the full 10". If I adjust it for the TOP part, only the picture goes up and off course then the game picture SCORE won't be seen.
Any Guru out there knows what I'm blabing about and how to fix it ? TIA

Are they Electrohome GO7 monitors?  If so (maybe even if not), there may be 6 posts on the PCB on the left back side (3 labeled horizontal, 3 labeled vertical), 2 of which are wired with bullet connectors.  3 of these connectors are for the vertical positioning, try connecting the bullet plug to the middle post (or if already in the middle then the post labeled 'down').

Do this with power off, obviously :).. if it isn't a GO7 or doesn't have the posts, I wouldn't have any other suggestions :P
