Odd UMK3 Rom Issue

Here's a strange one.  Loading the UMK3 rom (any revisions) in MAME will open the game. It will even have the UMK3 title screen and all, but once you do a quarter insert and enter the player select area, it shows the same characters that MK3 has, and not UMK3.

A large amount of fighters are missing from the selection. And I am unable to grasp what is going on.

Anyone have any ideas.

I had a corrupted ROM for a a different game that had the problem.
Check your ROM, use Clrmame Pro or verify it using MAME in command prompt.

I'm just going to replace it. I remember looking at clr mamepro once and thinking 'no thanks'
