Tiny Time Machine - Metroid themed miniature cabinet
« on: December 12, 2009, 12:09:39 am »
Hi there,

I've been lurking around here for quite a while and finally got around to finishing up and taking a few photos of my arcade projects and just wanted to see what you guys thought  ;)

This one's called "Tiny Time Machine," it's a 2 player miniature arcade cabinet that's 4 feet tall! I had a lot of fun making this one. Here's a few pics, hope you like!

I also made a custom Maximus Arcade theme, I'll try to take some video of it soon. I put some more pics of the building process up on my site if anyone is interested: http://www.meaninglessmilestones.com/tinkerings/tinkerings.html

Also just wanted to add that this is a darn fine forum, thx for all the great ideas and support!  :applaud:

Wow, that's awesome.  :applaud: Could you get another picture with a chair in front, or something else that puts it in perspective so you can grasp the actual size?

Very cool indeed!  :applaud:

I love the profile. It looks like it could have been an original cabinet. Great job  :)

Thx guys! Here's another photo to give you an idea of the size of the cabinet, just don't tell my wife, she'll kill me if she finds out there's a photo floating around of her in her pajamas, hahaha.

The thing is she could be tiny or massive, so it doesn't really show scale, maybe we could have some more pics of her standing by other things so we can compare them. ;)

nice little cab dude.

i'm very glad i previewed my post the b is very close to the n and gave an entirely different compliment
got COLOR codes from projects, post them here

add stuff to the uk wiki section

My son just asked if I could buy your cab for his Christmas gift (he is 5)...Very Very nice work on all three projects but I really like this little cab and the 8bit Metroid art.
