I've been resisting posting since I don't go for these, but my 9YO son got 15/15 in 0:43 .

FWIW, I didn't know who Sonic's nemesis was, so would have been cooked by that question.

How is BubbleBobble a classic ?

I always figured that Galaga was a rip off of Galaxian, not a sequel.

I only got 10/15, but the ones I missed were the console games. I think I got all the arcade games (except maybe the one of the fighting game ones). I thought Pac-Man came out in 1980 though, but the quiz claims 1981 (Pac-Man has a 1980 copyright date on the title screen)

had to guess which came first Space Invaders or Asteroids.

Stupid easy quiz. Although the Guile question is pretty tough for a non SF player.

Oops, you're right

Guess I got that one and the Mario one confused, which had Pac-Man as one of it's choices.

I always wondered where 'all your base..." was from. Now I know...and it doesn't make any difference, except/because that it's a game I never would've played anyway. I don't think that one, nor a few others are 'classic'.

But, hey, I never even played SF2, or know anything about it, and I psychically guessed 'Charlie'. I also psychically guessed Ganon, but thought 'nah', and chose Death...whatever. Obviously I never played Zelda, either.

The 1st try I got 10/15, but I'm cool with that. I'm not a console guy, really.

I remember Space Invaders in the bowling alleys and roller rinks, before Asteroids showed up. Really, it was about the only thing out there at that time, from what I recall.

I have the mega drive version just because it has that famous 'engrish'

. And actually it's quite an enjoyable version, other than being a bit easier than the arcade version...

I'm not upset that the Street Fighter one is the one I missed. Just never got into that one.
