Two questions though... any reason you didn't go with proper T-Molding? You have the router there which would have made installing a breeze. Seemed like a lot of fiddly effort you went to there. But it still came out great though I have to say.
And what was that PCB thing you made from scratch? I've never seen anyone on these forums do anything like that before! Do tell what that was for please.
Hello there. I didn't use a T-Molding because I didn't find a suitable
(20mm, blue) one, so I ended up using those tapes which gave a good
result.
Regarding the PCB: I'm sorry my first video hasn't got captions. The
PCB is used on the control panel to connect it to the PC using the LPT-
switch interface, as well as the PPjoy program that allows for 32
buttons for each player. You'll probably ask me why I haven't used I-
PAC, and that's for a simple enough reason: Brazil imposes a 60%
import tax, and when one takes into account shipping cost, VAT, and
reseller profit, it would cost about twice what I've spent, not to
mention international shipping takes a while. Hence I ended up using
LPT-switch, which cost me half the price of I-PAC. Of course I had to
do it from scratch but it was fun and a new experience.
