keep me informed. I'd be willing to rotate ES out for JP.

I'd like to hit CP's saturday. My son has a game in Alton at 4 and we could hit it on the way back. But alas, wife and daughter will most likely be with us, so it probably won't materialize.

I will let you guys know, the more I look @ TSPP the more I am sure of myself until I look @ my JP...then I just get weird  :'(

Maybe I will just keep em & have like 20 pins instead...must fight it...dont let these things take over the house...crack is wack...intervention please.

CP's would be awesome, I need a fix after missing the last 2 fuggin months but it looks like I will have to wait until next month (gonna go a few times to make up for lost time). I had a broken molar removed this afternoon, wasnt the normal type of extraction so I am not leaving the house for a few days.

Vicotins, won ton soup, chocolate malts, xbox & pain... f my life.

Well....everyone gets first dibbs.

I am dropping it off @ this dudes house that does Chuck's board repairs & it should be completed in a few weeks. After that I am breaking it down, polishing & putting in the cliffy sleeves, cliffy protectors & most of all custom interior cabinet art.

Then I may just decide to keep it or sell it, dunno. I like the idea of someone local & in BYOAC buying it tho, then I can get conjugal visits maybe?

Local (or within 100 miles) is the only way to go. I would never buy one of these sight unseen and I would feel uncomfortable shipping one out that way. I don't think you have to worry about finding a local buyer if you decide to sell...unless you are like that guy in Arnold on CL and want $2500 for it. If I'm gonna drop that much, I'm gonna put another 5 hundo with it and buy a TSPP or CV or TOTAN.

Played Flake's Cyclone a couple of weeks ago. Though an older system 11 than my ES, it feels a lot less clunky. Maybe my flippers and stronger or something. Fun game, but damn the outlane drains have a gravitational pull of their own.

Played about 12 games of TOM last night. I feel sorry for ES being neglected, but it doesn't stand a chance next to TOM.

I'm getting ready to order some new sticks for my MAME. Since I don't have the dough to build a mini-pin this winter, I'm gonna go ahead and modify the MAME. Replacing the Ultimarc 4/8 switchables with Happ competions and adding a dedicated 4 way (got to figure out where to put it). I'm also gonna give Hyperspin FE a look.

OK, you're all updated on my BS life now.

LL I wont charge you $2500 bro, not to you.... $2499 is your price  ;D jk I will prob put it out there just 2-3 hundy more than market value since its a super clean example with some cool upgrades, if no takers no worries, there are worse things that keeping it (like selling it for the same price as an ebay beater).

You could always sell your ES & throw some more dough on it to build a full size virtual pin...

When you get Hyperspin set up please allow me a chance to copy your hard drive

The Hyperspin is really awesome. Thats what I have been running in my cab. It is resource intensive so you gotta have a decent computer to make it run optimally.

LL - There is a guy wanting me to buy his JP for 1500 I believe it was. He is in STL somewhere. Want me to forward you his email to me that has the pics?

Well I took a few vicodin & went to CP's to play the hell out of the stern games before I started truly planning on selling my machines.

I so changed my mind.

Ignore all posts about selling my ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- for Sterns.

As you were.

Thanks Yoga, but I don't have the space for a third...at least not right now. I just d/l'd HS last night and installed the main program, no themes yet. Funny thing, I had to switch out wireless routers a couple of months ago and while I hated doing it, my wireless card in my MAME now works. So I will install a few themes tonight and d/l the gamelist program. So far, it seems pretty cool. I guess the videos are embedded in the themes? From the little bit I played with it, I wasn't able to make my videos show up on the spin menu.

PW79, I damn near had my wife convinced to take her own car to Alton Saturday, we drove right by the exit on the way home. Turns out, we had to pull over for her to puke on the way home so she went home and went to bed anyway. Would've worked out perfect to pawn my youngest off on her and take the boy to CP's...a reward for 4 straight sacks and making a kid cry in a mud bowl vs Alton.

Congrats on the Junkyard. I may have to defer on the gamenight until winter. I think I have something going almost every weekend until January.

I decided to cause myself some headaches. I have HS up and running (except videos). I was going to do surgury to my CP and add a 4 way and replace the Magicstiks with Happ Comps. So I went ahead and bought them, but now I've decided to go with 2 U360's, which I will order in the next day or two. If anybody needs 2 comps and an Ultimarc red ball top 4 way...never used, PM me.

Now for the major headache: Last night I finally decided to gor ahead and install the latest version of EJukebox. I am really weery of upgrades (thanks itunes), but went against my better judgement. Now I am crashing upon launch. I modified the ini file according to advice on their forum. After that, it launched, but had the most hideous skin, if you can call it that, ever. So I changed the skin, relaunched..and recrashed. Phuck I hate software upgrades/updates! I'll be in the basement working on the jukebox tonight if you're looking for me.

Beer nights....er games night it is!

LL why not just roll it back? Did you do a resto save before upgrading?

Anyone going to CP's? I will be there either this Saturday &/or next Saturday.

The guy at Ejukebox worked with me via their forum to get the problem worked out. I guess I helped in the beta testing. After about 5 or 6 tweaks, we finally got it to work.

I am kicking around trying to get to CP's friday, but their are a lot of factors pending. My son's football party is saturday night and it is within crawling distance of the house, so that rules out saturday. I think I'm outta town next week.

Daughter #2 was born last week so I'm kinda home bound for a few weeks......

However, I do have a new addition to the gameroom to keep me entertained.  Demo Man is gone, replaced by a Star Wars Trilogy.  Just got it last night.  I know many in the community dont give it much love but I like it....it is a Star Wars pinball so it cant be that bad.  The X-wing shot is awesome and the game can actually play pretty fast.  The game does have a cheaper, lighter feel to it compared to that behemoth widebody Demo Man.

Congrats Flake...that's quite an addition to the family, awesome to hear....Congrats on the baby too  ;D

I get my JP back from Chris Hibler this weekend if my schedule can match up with his, wish me luck.

I played your exact machine about a month or two ago, could have swore there were a few blue LED's in that thing... or did I have too many monsters (back on the sauce, beta blockers are working well).

Thanks PBW....its got a few blue LED's in it and If you've been to Chucks I'm sure you've played it.  You should have had Hibler clearcoat it for you....then you could never sell it....but then after that, why would even want to?

Saw that. There was also a STTNG on there. Too bad I don't have an extra $5K laying around.

BTW, I'm getting used to the U360's in my Mame. I renewed my love of Robotron and got to the forgotten (by me) Mario's Hideout screen in DKjr last night. I also have Hyoerspin completely running with videos. I need to tweek my gamelists, but I'm loving it so far. I highly recommend a complete overhaul of the mame cabinet now and then to renew interest.

They would definitely keep you busy for a while, and you'd pretty much get every nickle back down the road if you opted to sell them...providing you kept them in good condition. You should buy them JM.

Pretty sweet. Just too far of a drive.

BTW, I finally got Daphne running on my MAME. Dragons Lair is worth it...even though I suck at it. Everything else pretty much sucks. I used to play the crap out of Mach 3 when I was a youngster, but I felt that the Daphne version plays pretty lame. In the bomber mode, you don't even have to be close to hit the targets, just hit the bomb button on the same screen. I got farther than I ever did on the real version in one game...really boring.

I'm back in the market. Just sold ES, got my $1200 back out of it. So I'm officailly on the lookout for a new pin. I may take another look at Chuck's TFTC. I'd like another DMD game. Budget  would probably be $1500, but for the right deal I may go a little more. Exciting stuff. BTW, the guy that bought ES said Super Auctions was coming The first saturday in April, but I can't confirm.

Thanks, but no hurry. Although the spot looks awfully bare with only one machine. If nothing turns up in the next few weeks, I may go take a look at what Chuck has to offer. I emailed Rob, the guy I bought ToM from, to see if he has anything for sale. His stuff is pretty clean though, don't know if he would have anything in my budget range. I hear its working flawlessly these days.

Luck and good fortune run through LL's blood like greed through a Jew's....and before you say anything, yes I'm Jewish.  At least I play one on TV.

You know, I almost would think about rolling the bones, but wife isn't a big fan. Maybe I could convince her. I heard back from Rob Craig. All he has for sale is a Capcon Breakshot. He said he has a Sword of Fury, which looks pretty cool, but he said it was well over $1500. Plus, not sure I'm ready to dive right back into another system11...unless it was Funhouse.

1. LL thanks for helping me with that Hyperspin (I loaded it on one of Chuck's arcades too)

2. Did you get a new pinball yet?

3. CP is open this next weekend, anyone going to be there? Jeep, Flake, LL, Yog or etc?

I'm going saturday night with my boy. No boozing, and you know how kids are, when they have had enough, they ruin for everybody. But to answer question #2, no I haven't bought a new one yet and ES's place looks awfully bare. I will be checking out Chuck's machines for sale. I emailed him a couple of weeks ago and he said TFTC is still for sale, but it's not listed on his for sale page. He's got Flake's DM marked down to $1200, which is very interesting. My wife would skin me if I bought, she didn't care for it.

Glad to help on HS. Looking forward to seeing it on Chuck's mame.

I live in KC, but I will make it over there someday.  He has a lot of games that I have not played but really want to.

Just browsing STL CL, Batman $800.  I think it is fun and I love the theme and art.

I saw that, never played it though. Good price, but a pretty long drive for me. It's not rated very high by the dorks on ipdb.com. Lemme know if any gems pop up in KC, I may be willing to take a roadie for a really good deal.

I think Batman is fun, but not great.  For $800 I would seriously think about it.  It is in STL, isn't that where you are?

The guy I bought my ToM from has a Monopoly and a RollerCoaster Tycoon for sale.  He quoted me really good prices that were less than what he posted on Ebay and CL.  If you are intersted in either one I could talk to the guy.

Are there any titles in particular you are looking for?

I am 35 miles east of STL, Batman is located about 15-20 miles west...not the end of the world. I was really unimpressed with Monopoly when I played it at CP. I've only played RCT once and it had non working top flipper. Seemed interesting though. How much is he asking for the RCT?

BTW, what is your hi score on ToM?

I have played both RCT and Monopoly once at shows/auctions.  I think they are both fun, but RCT is better IMO.  IIRC, the last Ebay listing had RCT for $3300, but I think it might go for a little less.  Actually the RCT I played was this exact machine.

My last known hi score on ToM was 700M, then my DMD went bad.  Since then I have set five or six new high scores, but I have no idea what they are.  What is your hi score now?

I thought that RCT may be a little out of my range for machine #2. I am looking for $1200-$1600...probably the low end of the DMD spectrum. I'm gonna take a hard look at Chuck's TFTC Saturday night.

I think my HS is around 2.6B, maybe a little higher. I had around 2.5B on Chuck's...the first time I ever made it to the grand finale and finished the finale, which is kinda easy. On mine I made it one time and drained it immediately. But I had another ball left and bested my CP score.

Wake up girls, just 17 hours until 50 awesome pinball machines light up & whisper commands.

Going to Fast Eddies beforehand, after a few kabobs its time to put my name on at least one DMD.

LL I don't hear you speaking of your HS on NGG  ;D
