Did anyone see that CL ad yesterday regarding the woman selling a TZ, AF, and IJ pinball machine?  She wanted $2500 for all three or $1K each.  I responded around 8 AM that morning and she posted the ad at like 12:30 AM on 4/1.  I know it was April Fools yesterday and I thought when I responded thats what I would get as a response but in fact I got no response and now the ad it gone and no one posted any other ad about it being an April Fools joke.

If that ad was legit somebody made off with a damn steal.  I tell you ---daisies--- around here must have a program sending them instant notifications of pinball ads on CL.

Hopefully it was a joke.

Meh, I don't believe it.

On a more believable note, I did see a CL add for a LW3 for $1250 in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

Very funny.  But seriously if I see 3 primo machines sitting in your basement next time I come over I'm taking the IJ home after you pass out.

It didnt rain here, it would have been yesterday that he picked them up.  But he's full of ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.  He would have posted this immediately after scoring them or at the very least called me to rub it in.

I know KC thinks STL is on the east coast, but come on, that rain is way east of us. I don't have to worry about rain tomorrow now, I blew my load on the holy trilogy (pinball that is).

I bought the Viper. It needs $50-$100 in parts and a good cleaning.

***the Royal Rumble was a tragedy. I was backing my truck to the bay and witnessed it fall on of the fork lift sideways, bounce the front off the ground and land on its top. Snapped the back box off, but miraculously didn't break the backglass or the playfield glass.

It needs some TLC. Funny how every little tweak makes it a little funner to play. It's funner than I initially thought, but then again, most pins are after you start figuring them out.

Buyer got f'ed. I heard them telling him they could refund the buyers fee and that's it. I saw the whole thing happen in slow motion. It's a shame, it was probably the nicest machine there. I was shocked it didn't sustain more damage than it did. It is probably salvageable, but that poor guy is gonna have to shell out to fix it.

Whoa so SA's broke a machine & said "too bad"?

I would never kill someone for a pair of Nike Jordans but I truly would at the very least bitchslap someone very, very, very hard for stealing $1,000 from me. On a more positive note they didnt set your machine on fire & offer to pay for your gas so thats good.

You got a nice price on that machine too dude, you must have told him your name was Jim  :laugh2:

Why didn't you buy the No Fear?

It was pretty jacked up, really dirty...but then again, other than the WWFRR, everything was. A disproportionate amount of the machines had bubbling mylar on the playfield. Having already been through that with ES, I'm not eager to do it again. I don't know why I pulled the trigger on VND to be honest. But it seems to be one of those novelty games that shouldn't be too hard to sell when it comes time. It has some pretty cool effects. But then again, it has 2 dancing raccoons that seem very out of place in a racing theme.

I'll have to get back to you on that VND, just got back and haven't had time to mess with it. One thing I have found out is that parts are hard to come by. Hopefully next crappy day, I'll take an inventory of what I need to order (that is available) and get it coming.

Not too many hangovers...but plenty of headaches caused by my kids. I've had the sh*tz since last tuesday. On possitive notes, only in the morning, and I don't think I gained any weight. :applaud:

Flake I am totally in the market for a kegerator right now, saw one on CL last week but still hunting....Blue moon TAP in the house = aWESOME

LL you managed to ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- all those chicken chimis out, nice!

Chuck flipped those 2 widebody machine rather than part them out, oh well. The longer it takes the cheaper the PC gets & the more tables will get improved/made.

I check CL almost daily for pinball, arcade and keg.  The reason I still search for keg is to see if something better/cheaper would have come up since I bought mine.  Suffice to say, since I bought mine in early December not one kegerator has popped up that would have worked for me.  The only decent ones have been 2 keg machines which would have been too big for the space I've dedicated for mine.

You could always buy one from http://www.micromatic.com/ and http://www.beveragefactory.com/

They are expensive though.

From what I've read a keg will last up to 4 months in a refrigerated unit.  I'm only on my second full keg as I started using 1/6 barrels with my dual tap setup.  The first keg was gone in two months.  I'm about one month into the current full keg.

Well, I just ordered the parts for the VND. I gotta say that the plastic target assemblies for DE/Sega/Stern are pretty shoddy. I had 2 broken off and a third that was sticking that I got working. I ordered new rubbers and some purple LEDs to match the black lights. I got most of the switches and the slingshots up & running again. I have scoured the interwebs for new glow balls and have come up short. So I guess I'll have to clean these up the best I can. Considering I have only had a couple of hours to put in, it is moving right along.

On another note, I had a 50 foot crater in my backyard when I got home yesterday. I'm sure this 85 degree weather will end the day the pool is complete.  :badmood:

Well I was going to contribute $10k to your cause but now that we are using a realtor to sell the house those funds are earmarked for the agent.  Sorry man, I was almost ready to write you that check.

If you're using my old agent, she is definitely easy on the eyes...but no cans are worth $10K. Tell you what, just sell it yourself, give me $2K for a slushy machine, and keep the rest to buy pinballs.

Damn, there was a KC CL add for an AF pin, $2500, posted a day or two ago.  I was going to post it here, but the ad is already gone.
Pins:  Theatre Of Magic, JP The Lost World, Revenge From Mars

Gotta be quick on the draw for CL pins...especially if someone doesn't know what they have.
You probably remember me from such films as `The Revenge of Abe Lincoln' and `The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West'

I dont think $2500 for an AF is a "deal".  Probably a fair price pending condition.

Happy April 16th!

Compared to the prices I see AF usually selling for, I would say it was a good deal.  Is $2500 closer to what a nice condition AF should sell for, IMO yes.

Prices may vary per location.

If you lived in southern Texas I bet you could find a AF for an open pack of cigarettes and a few fish tacos.  Maybe have to throw in a few packets of hot sauce if its real minty.   :lol

I'm assuming we're talking Addams Family, no? For any of those top 5/top 10 type games, I'd say anything less than $3K for a good condition is a decent deal.
