Another mini bartop , lunacade alike.
« on: December 30, 2008, 12:19:01 pm »
I really really like the lunacade design for a bartop, but i feel price was to high,so i decide to build my own.
With a 2.80ghz p4 computer, 512 ram,20gbb hd, ati9500 card,15 inch lcd screen, one player 4 buttons, i fanally came up with this:

so lets say, 10 bucks for wood, computer for free, lcd 100 bucks,10 bucks for controllers and 10 bucks pc to jamma Taiwanese connection which includes snes keyboard controllers and built in amp for sound, free high intensity 3m golden vinyl  i end up  spending around
150 bucks, not a bad deal.

i really encourage new guys to build your own cabs, its allot cheaper sometimes

Either that bartop is very small or the woman is a giant.  :laugh2:
All kidding aside, the bartop looks great. Couple of questions.
Are you going to leave the marquee as is?
Did you take any construction pics? Could you post the measurements?

That's a sweet looking Bartop but I gotta say the blindfolded woman in a bare room standing next to a little bartop is really freaking me out  :-\

Good job! I have a 15" lcd touchscreen, but the touch part dont work. Im thinking about making a bartop arcade out of it, so these are getting my attention lately.
