I'm still not sure how I'm going to get to work in my 2-wheel drive F-150. I think I'm gonna suck it up, take my chances, and pray that everyone else was smart enough to stay off the roads. It's 25 degrees out there and it's been sleeting all night. I'm expecting a sheet of ice.
That's sounds just like me. I'm more comfortable behind the wheel of the truck, but when it comes to stuff like this, I'd rather be in my little Cavalier. Sure, all the heavy vehicles can crush me with ease, but I've got better control. Don't get me wrong, I'm an ace on snow, but it's the other million or so in OKC that scare the @%$# out of me, plenty of them being uninsured.

It doesn't help that only a fraction of the roads got the proper treatment or that all of the sleet solidified into a few inches of ice. Some yuppy-lookin' #@$# in a decked out SUV decided that he wanted to ride my butt across an ice-encrusted bridge, even after I'd signaled that I would be turning. Some people are under the illusion that two extra drive wheels automatically mean that you can drive the speed limit on the ice. New flash: You may have the traction to get up and go, but you're not any less likely to eat my bumper instead of stopping.
