Project Arcade marquee dimensions
« on: July 17, 2006, 03:04:38 pm »
What are the dimensions for the Project Arcade marquee? I plan on ordering a marquee from classicarcadegrafix.com and I'd like to know what size to specify.

I think it's a very good idea to physically measure the cabinet that you're trying to fit. Is there any reason that you cannot do this?

Well I've only just begun construction. I haven't quite reached the assembly portion yet. The reason why I'm asking in advance is that I have a limited amount of time to finish the cabinet before I move. I would have liked to know the dimensions in advance so that I'm not waiting around weeks for the marquee to arrive. I thought that if the cabinet was built to the specifications in the Project Arcade book that it would turn out the same as in the book, marquee included.

Odds are its probably 26" X 7" possibly 7.5ish depending on your speaker shelf location. You should really measure its not to far into the construction that you will learn these dimensions.  :)

I can understand your desire to get it done as soon as possible, but (depending on where you get it done) it usually comes pretty quickly - about a week or so. You could order it as soon as you cut the wood and it will very likely arrive as soon as your paint dries.

Just a suggestion. Unfortunately, I do not know the dimensions.
