animated frontend... sorted mamewah help needed...
« on: May 22, 2006, 02:47:58 pm »
im after a front end which will allow you to use an image to select a game rather than line of txt.... i understand for loads of games this would be pointless but i only want to add around 10 games max to this front end....

ok i got a animation of the upcoming sf anthology i want this idea but without the arrows... the pictures can either move into view or just click over like page...

anyone seen this on a frontend?

I would say a lot of FE's can do this.

Dragon King and 3darcade can do pretty much anything.   I think DK even has sample skins that do something close to this.

I don't see why MAMEWAH couldn't.
AtomicFE? probably.

With 3Darcade and DK you would have more control, but I think the others could handle this pretty easily as well.  Depends how much control you want.

If you decide to use Atomic, i can do this kind of layout for you without problems.

I can even make "Arrow" dynamic. (the arrow can be show only if there are still some game in the direction)

Just ask me.

I can not make cycle round easly  the list in the current version of Atomic. (that 's a feature on my to do list).

So if you want i start , i woud need few information.

What resolution you want for your layout?

Can you send me by mail , Arrows pictures?  and others Artworks you want.

May be you can desing your layout , create a simple static picture  of the visual result you want.  And then you send me the images , and i will make the layout script for you.

You can already do Animated menu in Atomic.

For now, you have to use Scripting feature , but if you can describe me what kind of thing you would like , i can try to introduce that as component.
