Are you asking because you have done those and they haven't worked or are looking for something else to try first ?

In the meantime, try:

Could it be a problem with the Power supply? I've heard a bad power supply can cause weird problems...
Vids:  Home built MAME machine, Crystal Castles. Arkanoid
Pins:   Williams Aztec (working). Stern Nugent (not working...yet), Williams Phoenix (major not working, missing parts.... )

Always on the lookout for buying 90's game with Ramps that need work...

Mowerman has an excellent Pac-MsPac troubleshooting guide with pictures.

Try reseating any socketed chips on the gameboard.

Thanks Fredster,

I was at one site last nite that had good info, but nothing related to my problem.  I need a dumb down version since this is the first time I working on a PCB.  I emailed Two Bits to get a quote since there are tags where they have worked on this board before.  I will probably convert back to PacMan anyway.

Thanks

Tim

You can try looking up a Logic probe. (They are like what, $15?)

I fixed a PCB the first time I ever used one. You keep probing the chips until you find one with dead legs.

Randy Fromm has some stuff on his site on how to fix PCBs.  randyfromm.com.  He's buried the tech section somewhere.  Anybody know where it's at?

Give it a shot.  It can't hurt.  Tool around with it until you find it.
