New power supply wiring question

I'm building a Pacman Cocktail from the ground up using an actual Pacman arcade PCB.

since it is a didicated Pac, wasn't it cheaper to get the first one ? $15-$25 comparing to the second and still need to splice the wire (more work). Plus on top of that, you need to cut a hole in the cabinet for the second power supply.
Anyway, the second (new) Ps has a built in FUSE. AS far as the RC filter, I dunno where it would be in the original. Isn't it built into the INTERLOCK in the original ?

I started with an empty cabinet and bought a Pacman PCB off of Ebay.  I never had the original power supply and an arcade owner suggested I buy the kit from Localarcade for easy wiring.

I assume this is actually better than the cheaper power supply - it just is different than what I was expecting.  It came with a prewired Pacman cocktail cable wiring harness.

you can get an INTERLOCK and has filter built in. Maybe you don't even need the filter at all. Just plug your PS (after hacking it to work with the PCB) and plug the ISO in the PS pass thru. I guess you'll leave the PS inside the cab or you gonna cut a hole in the cab for the fan/air flow.

An interlock switch and a line filter are two different things. The interlock switch was a safety device attached to one of the doors. When the door opened, the switch killed power to the game. It works like the light in your refrigerator.

A line filter smooths the incoming AC current to reduce line noise.

I don't know if a line filter is needed with the newer power supply or not.

As far as the power supply you got, it is better, but it doesn't have the same kind of connection.

What kind of connections does your pacman harness have for power?
