I got this shpping notice this morning for my light gun...I can't wait!!! (sorry - I'm excited...). I hope I don't have any probs w/it.

You ladies are hilarious. I just hope it works. I've seen other posts for this gun where it didn't work or it broke right outta the box.

Did you buy this for use with MAME or something else? I never really got into gun games... owing largely to the fact that I totally stink at them.

Don't you have a ginormous TV or am I thinking of someone else? To me big TV + light gun = loads & loads of fun. Does your PC have TV out?

We do have a 57" projection TV, but our cab has a 24" RCA TV screen.

currently I'm waiting on 3 things from the mail:

1) NES
2) Marquee for the cabinet
3) c-64

Light gun report!

I had no trouble hooking up my Act Labs light gun to my cab. Just followed the directions and BLAMMO! Sure as shootin' it worked. I haven't had a light gun for a looong time, so I don't have anything to compare it to but the arcade. I think it's great! I've only played a few games - Police Trainer, Operation Wolf, some Japanese target game and BANG!, the all worked great. Pretty much plug 'n play as far as I'm concerned.

I've updated the 'video of the week' on my cabinet webpage that shows the light gun in action. High speed users, it takes abut 30 seconds to load then mouse over. Dial-up...may take a minute or longer to load.
