That's one thing I hate about the right.  The nuttiest wackos on the right are people like Dartful Dodger.  When they lose it they're heavily armed and there's a lot of sinners that could use a good purging.

The nuttier they get on the left, the less dangerous they become, until eventually they are just long haired beggers wearing a hemp blanket for clothes and following The String Cheese Incident around the country.  Actually, PETA is probably as bad as it gets, but even they are just obnoxious.  Nothing more than a nuisance.

Both the right and the left have their wackos, but the wackos on the right are heavily armed and have god on their side whispering to them about doing the lord's work and getting 72 virgins.  The wackos on the left are mostly just passivist whiners.

A good article making an excellent point. Robertson should be banned from entering Britain under its new laws. After all he IS a religious extremist preaching hatred and violence (assasination). Might show the muslim community that the uk is protecting ALL of its citizens and not just supporting america in its religious crusade.

What is your point?  Extremists want people to believe as they do, no matter what.  It's hard to tell once they get really out there if they in fact are right or left.  It doesn't matter.

Nobody is going to pay a lot of attention to these religious wackos anyway.  No more than people pay attention to these liberation armies in california or PETA people.

Robertson has been integral in Bush's political ascension, and he's exerts tremendous pressure on the GOP, even running for president himself (after three million responded to his petition to run), where he barely trailed Bush I at times. Only losing, when, like most Chicken hawks...he lied about his level of service in Korea.

Oh and btw, he runs one of the largest Christian television networks (CBN) in the WORLD, as well as a huge Christian political organization called "The Christian Coalition." Maybe you've heard of it?

If you were at all honest with yourself, you'd see that the extremists on the left have in NO WAY obtained as much influence over the Democrats as the extremists far-right have obtained over the current administration.

Just reference Bush's pandering to them with the Gay Marriage admendment, the SCOTUS nominees, the midnight flight back to sign a bill for ONE WOMAN (Schiavo)...not to mention Frist, DeLay, et al...

I see you as suffering from a HUGE disconnect between what you believe and the party/leaders you are currently supporting.
