What is your point?  Extremists want people to believe as they do, no matter what.  It's hard to tell once they get really out there if they in fact are right or left.  It doesn't matter.

Robertson has been integral in Bush's political ascension, and he's exerts tremendous pressure on the GOP, even running for president himself (after three million responded to his petition to run), where he barely trailed Bush I at times. Only losing, when, like most Chicken hawks...he lied about his level of service in Korea.

Oh and btw, he runs one of the largest Christian television networks (CBN) in the WORLD, as well as a huge Christian political organization called "The Christian Coalition." Maybe you've heard of it?

There are lots of reasons Bush beat Kerry.  Lots. Kerry didn't have the real support of his base because they were fragmented over Iraq.  Kerry wasn't a people kinda guy. Bush is. Bush had the confidence of the people to lead the US.  Kerry had no real answers and pointed people to his "website" for details.

The right rallied behind the most "right" candidate, Bush.  Not everybody on the left agrees with everybody on the left.  Do you agree with all Joe Liberman?  Do you agree with Barbra Striestand?  The communist party backed Kerry.

I used to work with the elderly when I was a teenager, volunteering at the rest home of a private hospital.  This was probably about 1991.  There were a few very elderly women who took the 700 Club very seriously.  They would get their social security checks and try to send the whole damn thing to those people.  Their families would have to intervene and authorize the nurses to monitor their outgoing mail to prevent them from sending most of their income.  It was predatory in nature, very disturbing.

It means I'm going to have to accept a certain level of "suckage" because the GOP is currently in control of the House, Senate, Judiciary, and Executive branches of our government. They control the government, they influence policy, they give credence to those I oppose, and they vindicate, through their rhetoric, behavior I find deplorable.

2) It means I can fight that "suckage" at every turn in a multitude of ways, which I current DO. It means I can oppose their policies, point our their hypocrisy, work to influence their constituency, and support policies I agree with.

1- You are using "Illinazi" as a compliment to the state and are proud of it.
