Arcade VGA in Dos 7
« on: July 22, 2005, 10:16:00 am »
I have a PC with win98se and am running ArcadeOS. If i plug in my ArcadeVGA card and boot up the screen turns black ( PC monitor currently, soon to be hooked up to arcade monitor) Any ideas? the PC monitor power light is Green not amber, so it seems to be getting some sort of signal.

of course your PC monitor will not display 15khz (AVGA). Arcade VGA card are only for ARCADE MONITORS (15khz) not PC (VGA/SVGA/XGA) monitors.

The point is that if you are using the ArcadeVGA with a computer monitor it defeats the purpose.
