ok heres the problem...first off i sometimes have problems getting a list of games...i look at the log and at the end when its trying to use advmame.exe -verify roms or sumthing i get a (flags 17)
then if i get the list to work it will freeze when it starts the game up....any answer on this...im using 1.6.1 mamewah with advmame 95 dos version under a windows 98

advmame don't have a -verify parameter. Maybe thats causing your problem, just a guess.

AdvanceMAME doesn't have the -verifyrom flag, so the {autodosbox} flag won't work.
In your <emu>.ini (in C:\mamewah\ini), change your commandline_format flag {autodosbox} to {nodosbox} and try again.

alright so i got the game to actually start up but it always freezes on me...what should i do? Always freezes right at the Press ok to continue screen...but when i type it in on the command prompt it will work fine....im using advmame .95 and im gettin pissed that i cant use this...

advmame works fine if you do it manually. But if you launch a game from MAMEWAH, thats when it freezes. Anyone here must have use this 2 together that can guide you more that I do at this point. I'm just a pure Advance Menu and Advmame user.

since i couldnt figure this out i went to advmenu and was wondering if there is a background image i could have besides the white...also is there an option to shutdown windows within advmenu...or is it manually that must be done....as i liked that mamewah was able to shutdown comp from the front end...thanx for the answers
