Drinking lots of water, eat a little food (crackers or something else light), and sleep.  Also, I hear tell that Bitters (used in many old fashioned cocktails) are supposed to be great at preventing hangovers (or it may be at relieving them the next morning).

Yeah, drink some gatorade right now. Won't help the drunk, but you'll feel much better in the morning.

Why do you want to sober up? You worked so hard to get where you are.

My advice for you is to drink more grog and get more drunk, to hell with the hangover. See if anybody has some cannabis, I hear the two mix very well.

Tomorrow a large chunk of rock may hit the earth, then you may have wished you had kept on parting. Hey? Hey?

I rest my case.

I always like to eat pizza and drink lots of gatorade the next day. it helps a lot.

Also, after a night of drinking, i try to drink lots of water before i go to sleep, and keep a glass near the bed and drink it through the night.

sometimes charcoal tablets help too.

Take a large hammer - I've seen that a 3 lb sledge can be weilded fairly easily by the other hand whilst "fixing" your future problem - and apply it with great speed and force to ANY part of the other hand.  Repeat between 3 and 12 times.

When you wake up in the morning, you won't even give your hangover a second thought ;) ;D

Oh, and stay away from the  :police: :police: :police: :police: :police:

btw, this method of headache treatment can be used for other general aches and pains also, and is not limited to the hand region, in fact, sometimes a TOE is a better choice!

and high sugar ( glucose ) in your blood , alcohol turns into sugar in your blood ( this is also why it's not good for diabetics to drink )  lots and lots and lots of water BEFORE going to bed helps tons .. gateraid is great , but it also has allot of sugar in it , pedolight is actually better , of course most people going and getting that drunk normally don't have it sitting around the house.
Also keep in mind that alcohol thins your blood and so does aspirin , stick with Tylenol ( of course this doesn't help your liver either ) aspirin on top of thinned blood will make you light headed and dizzy.

Woops, I used the word "wise" and "Drew" in the same sentence. Better hit myself with a hammer. No!! Not the hand again!!

;D
You did that because last time, I revised the "treatment program" and went a little higher....I tried to remove that wart resting between your shoulders, and you seemed not only to forget that it happened, but you've taken to saying odd things.....seeing as it worked so well, I may have to apply the treatment liberally.....and you may be due for a "maintenance dose"  ;D

Having a fry up and hair of the dog (i.e. another drink of whatever got you drunk in the first place) usually does the trick. But if I have to drive then a couple of soluble pain killers and plenty of water is the boring alternative.

If you are aware enough to realize you should do something, then you should take 3 aspirin and then literally drink about 2 or 3 gallons of water. Just stay awake drinking glass of water after glass of water for at least an hour.

Even after drinking all that water you will still sleep through the night. I normally wake up to pee 3 or 4 times per sleep period, but if I drink I don't wake up (or pee) at all, even if I do drink 2 gallons of water before going to bed.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I think I see where Paige is going with this.

Perhaps waking up a grown man who has pissed himself will cause you to never ever do it again!  LOL

literally drink about 2 or 3 gallons of water.

I think that's a little excessive, but I find that downing a quart of water before bed helps.

2 or 3 gallons of water

I usually down several pints of h20, plus another whenever I get up to "drain the lizard", and throw down an advil and a tums for good measure.  I would not reccomend gallons of water, read these:

I just prefer to pass out somewhere flat and cool. Like the floor.

I am gunna get a hangover no matter what I do, this I have come to accept. Drinking water before bed results in me having to get up during the night to go to the can. This sets off a chain reaction of head-spins and laughing at the porcelain.

For me all I need/want is sleep, and bloody lots of it.

You can follow the symptoms, then, to figure out what's happened, Bones.  You've used up/killed off all your "extra" brain cells, and the hangover is from the useful ones being beaten with an alcoholic lead pipe.  Careful, there's no telling how many are left up there.  When you hear that rattle like the ball inside a spray paint can, ya better stop  ;D

I have to agree here... it seems that no matter what I do, I still end up with a hangover, and the only thing that gets rid of it is lots of sleep (broken up by intermittent puking).
