How do I verify ROMs ?

What is the best way to verify that a large collection of ROMs are all good?

you can check one at a time

mame gamename -verifyroms

 is there a batch utility to do them all automatically?
or is that what clrmame does?

I've downloaded clrmame and am in the process of creating a dat file from a Mame32u[1].94.1_Binary.exe

If you guys have any other advice I'd like to heat it.
