There is a site out there that lists all the episodes and what condition the archives are in. Oddly enough it is the second doctor that has the fewest intact episodes.
I especially liked that I could see them without commercials.
When I firstr started watching Doctor Who, the local PBS station only had Tom Baker episodes. At the end of Tom Baker's run, they aquired and started showing the John Pertwee episodes. Then wthey went through all the Tom Baker episodes again. I think the repeated John Pertwee and Tom baker a few times until they were able to get the Peter Davison episodes. By the time they were showing Colin baker episodes, I was too busy with real life, and I only saw one or two Colin Baker episodes. I don't think they ever showed the Sylvester McCoy episodes. Somewhere along the line I think they showed a couple of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton episodes. Other than that the only time I had seen the first two doctors was in the "Five Doctors" andf the "Three Doctors" episodes.
I did see the movie in 1996 and thought it was OK, but I remember thinking that they had made some bad decisions with the storyline.
I also saw the first of the Peter Cushing movies, and thinking it ws really disappointing. Especially the inside of the Tardis. Yech!!!a
