Mame Invaders- Module #5
« on: March 07, 2005, 11:11:06 am »
Greets all!.....

Module #5- HAPP Trackball Finished!

Well I think this is the last "module" for my Mame Invaders cab. For those of you that have followed my threads I have the following that I've made for it--
Module #1- Upgraded XArcade Solo Standard Layout
Module #2- Starwars Yoke
Module #3- Steering Wheel (ok, I didn't build this one!)
Module #4- Dual Joystick Configuration
Module #5- Happ Lit Trackball

Below are the pics....and as you can see I've sacrificed another XArcade to the gaming gods.....

Enjoy the pics!

Here the gamecab original standalone trackball that I took apart to use in my Xarcade shell.....

Below that is the insides of the newly placed Happ into the XArcade shell....it's a lit RED Happ trackball (although it looks orange...it is red when lit).
Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Another X-Arcade sacrificed to the arcade gods!  :o

Burn it's remains in a pyre for all to see!

Again, looks great. If you have to have an X-Arcade on the front of your machine, that's the way to go.  If I ever get a spare cab, I'll make a console cab that works like that with my varous arcade sticks/beatmania controllers ect ect.

But... I gotta ask...

...you did know they have/are making an X-Arcade trackball, right?  ::)
