Sitting a Sound Card in DOS...help

I attached a Creative Labs PCI 128 VIBRA sound card and also install its dos drivers reqired.
I am using arcadeos and dmame9.0.After running arcadeos there was a
starting sound,menu sound,Run game sound and also Exit ArcadeOs sound but there was no sound in game...any help...

Please check some of these DOS settings and tell me if i am missing something...

Change soundcard=1 and try again.

i already do this in both mame.cfg and arcadeos.cfg

I suggest elimiting AOS first. Just use Dmame and make sure the sounds works there, then worry about the other one.

The Creative Labs PCI cards are awful in DOS.  You might have better luck with a different card.

What kind of motherboard do you have?  Verify that the IRQ and DMA are free in the bios before you allocate them.  You might need to turn off Pnp OS and configure the IRQs yourself.

The PCI 128 Vibra is emulating a "real" SoundBlaster in software, so all of the settings need to be "just right".

what about other Creative PCI cards.? i mean favourite,easy to setup in dos.
