A little known danger of BYOAC
« on: January 03, 2005, 09:38:28 am »
(I apologize if this belongs on a different board)

The wife is out-of-town for the week and I figured, "Hey, what a great time to finish up my arcade machine!"  So, I'm down in the basement working away, when I look down...and there's a snake at my feet!!!!

For the briefest of moments, I considered using the circular saw or my router with the t-molding bit.  In the end, I opted for distance and a long shovel. Did I mention that I was screaming like a little girl the whole time?

Let this serve as a warning for all BYOACers...snakes are attracted to MAME machines. ;-)

Was it a trouser snake?

Those one-eyed ones can be very dangerous if they get loose in public.

Did I mention that I was screaming like a little girl the whole time?

Don't worry too much about it. I once almost stepped on a baby black snake and there was my girlfriend, her parents, her brothers, her sister, her grand parents and her uncle to hear me scream like a girl. And now complete stange(ers)  :P

Don't tell anyone.
Now in a tasty new flavour.
