games for use with a trackball
« on: October 14, 2004, 06:54:26 pm »
I have been looking for lists of games that use trackballs, but could not find anything, so im not sure to spend 100 bucks on a extra trackball and a opti-pack. Does anybody know what games use a trackball and where I can get them.
                                         Thanks for the help,

i like shuffleshot and can't wait when simpson bowling sound emulation is perfect

dont forget some spinner games can be used with trackball eg. tempest - not authentic but it works!

also star wars works with trackball

get a Happ Golden Tee 3" - its awesome and on sale at the moment.

you will also need an optipac or similar to connect the TB to your PC (basically turns TB into a USB mouse) http://www.ultimarc.com/optipac1.html

I05. Simpsons Bowling (or any other post-1986 Konami game) says a ROM is bad or BAD EEPROM etc.

A: To re-initialize the EEPROM, hold down the test switch (F2) and tap reset (F3) once. Do not let go of F2 until you see a message that says "Initializing EEPROM".

Attached is a list of games that all work with a trackball.
There are a few PC games listed also.
They are sorted by category as I am planning a pool/golf/casino style cab...

Hope this helps
