looks/sounds like this person is only selling the SNAP SHOTS, SOUND SAMPLES, ARTWORK, FLYERS but not MAME itself or ROMS. I don't think this is going to sell cause if they have MAME running in thier system, they can take SNAP of it themsleves and the rest, there are just easy DOWNLOADS even if you are in 56k Modem (it just takes time). But anyway, IMO this guy needs a JOB. McDonalds/Burger King are hiring, go fill up an apllication dude (whoever you are).

It doesn't say that it includes MAME itself, and it clearly says that it doesn't include ROMs.  I don't see it as a bad thing at all.

From a legality standpoint, yes I'll agree with you HarumaN, as snaps and the like are still copywrited material and not the property of the e-bay seller.

But on the other hand, it sure would save someone alot of time and hassle, and I don't see much difference between this and paying a rom-burner for their time, materials and shipping to get a full romset.

I get roms from a mame burner and download mame when I want an upgrade.

Rom Burners are the only way to go for that.

Actually, it appears that he is basically giving away this stuff at cost. If you go the whole rom burners route - it costs near the same. If anything, people auctioning away mame roms at .99 for the whole set would stop all those $@!#!$ trying to make a quick buck.
