Are there any 2+ player spinner/trackball games out there?

Pong used paddles (pots) IIRC...

Also not spinner exactly, but there are many simultaneous 2-player driving games which you could use 2 spinners for :)

As far as spinners are concerned.... the only good games that come to mind are arkanoid and it's copy-cat clones.   Tempest is also a good spinner game.  Other than that there aren't any.  The other games either use a specialized spinner, or are paired with a speciality control (like d.o.t)  deeming gameplay with just a spinner useless.  There are hardly any two player spinner games.  (Actually I can't think of one, but I'm sure there is.)

There are, however, a ton of trackball games.

My theory on adding a spinner is if you have to ask about what games use it then you don't need one.  The games that do use a spinner are very nostalgic, meaning if you play them new in this day and age you might not be impressed.

There is a1 very fun 2 player spinner game that comes to mind.

'Off the Wall' It looks pretty dumb, but in practice, I've had a lot of fun with it.

I think the original used a paddle, but using a spinner works just fine (imho)

My business partner and I play that game about 5-10 times a day.

There's also a 4 player spinner game, can't remember what it's called, but the 4 corners are the things that the players try to protect from a flaming ball and you can push a button to hold the flaming ball and it speeds up... anyways, it's pretty fun.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Atari's Warlords :)

I don't plan on making a 2 player spinner panel in the near future, although Blasteroids is reason enough for me to make one some day...

mahuti: Yes I like Sente's Off the Wall too, I think you need a joystick + spinner per player.

yeah, forgot about the joystick.

It's a fun game with just one person too.

Blasteroids is quite fun, too.
