Whats wrong with Matt Foley?

Well, being the quote below it said "I live in a van down by the construction site" and you created it after X2 posted that he was living in a van and got fired for being at job sites after hours to use the bathroom and such, one would conclude that it was meant to make fun of X2.

Matt Foley lived down by the river.  Construction site was not chosen at random.

Matt Foley lived down by the river.  Construction site was not chosen at random.
Then I supposed I can say you concluded wrong. The quote wasn't there long (a week?), and the changes were made to highlight LeChuk's post not X2. I'd link you to it, but its gone.  It was probably hands down the single funniest thing ever posted on the internet. Just a great spot on reference and hilarious all around. I did see how someone could come to the same conclusion as you did and that was why I removed the aforementioned text and left the avatar for the last 2 months or so.

Are you going to complain about my new avatar too? Spoiler, its blank.

There is no reason to delete his current sig. No rules are being violated.

Saint, how was my previous signature violating any rules? No text was altered and the quote link took you to the post in question. It was another member making fun of me in my sig, not me making fun of another member. I got thick enough skin to fund humor in insults directed at me.

If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.

never mind, I dont even care. Lets stop bringing me up , I dont like the attention.

I'm now anti-chuffed because I sold my TMNT restore and they are picking it up in an hour. Probably going to regret it like I do selling my Killer Instinct.

Ha, well mine was a KI1 and it went for Rampage + $200 so about $700 total , I turned the Rampage back into a TMNT and that went for $1200 + $450 in neogeo carts. So I honestly have no idea exactly how much money Ive lost so far. Just dont tell my wife, kk?

You're coming out further ahead than I thought you would.

Machines around here either sell for $200 or they are some ridiculous price and get relisted once a year by the same person who "won't take less than it's worth".

Well my Galaga is now in Michigain, and my TMNT is on its way to Alabama. I think its the local folks around here that are cheap skates.   I have a Blitz in  an NBA Jam cab for $300 (medium res monitor, 49ways,etc) super low price just to get rid of it and Im still getting lowballed.

Chuff is Naffed this AM because I missed out on a Vimana board by cheaping out and not offering full asking price. $300 for a Toaplan SHMUP was fair, I just got greedy.

So last night I went to StarFighters Arcade because they were having an issue with the Polybuis machine not booting correctly. I went by and did some troubleshooting. At first, I was afraid it was the computer, but I saw that it was booting correctly. After looking at a few things, I narrowed it down to the KADE, and then more troubleshoothign led me to the joystick. Apparently, the switches on the firing mechanism had been used so much that the springs wore out! Quite chuffing to know something you made is getting so much use.

Wow, that's pretty impressive.  So you just replaced the micro-switch in the trigger?  or was it something more involved?

I coated my garage floor with some epoxy and during the mixing process some epoxy splattered into the chuck of my drill.  I didn't realize it until months later but the epoxy cured the teeth of the chuck into a rock-hard position. When I went to use the drill again 1 of the 3 teeth didn't break free and is now stuck in a taller position.

But I realized that the keyless chuck can be removed and easily replaced with a $18 model from Amazon. I now have some chuff.  :)

Nice to know you can replace them easily.  They're too damned big and I lathed at least a third of mine off cramming it into small openings.

Today I discovered where the janitor sleeps it off:

There's a retro gaming con going on today in the Phoenix area. I saw a photo posted on Facebook.  It looks familiar...

So cool to see something you made and gave to the community getting out there for people to enjoy...
